Abandoned-cart recovery
Bring back shoppers who verified a phone but didn't order — over WhatsApp, SMS and email, on the channel Indians actually open.
When a shopper OTP-verifies their phone but doesn't complete the order, IndiSell can message them back automatically. Because the number was verified at checkout, these messages actually deliver — WhatsApp open rates in India sit far above email.
How it works
A shopper verifies their phone, then leaves without ordering. IndiSell captures it as a recoverable cart with a resume link.
Your sequence sends messages at set delays — e.g. WhatsApp after 30 min, SMS after 6 h, email next day.
As soon as the shopper comes back or buys, the journey ends — no nagging.
Set it up
Under Abandoned Cart you'll find:
- Recovery journey — pick a recipe (Standard 3-touch, High-intent 5-touch, Quiet email-only) or build your own sequence with per-step channel and delay.
- Channels — connect the accounts messages send from (WhatsApp, SMS, email) and set templates.
- Performance — how many carts were recoverable, messaged, and recovered.
- Recovery offer — an optional coupon that auto-applies when the shopper returns via the link.
How-to: build a 3-touch sequence
Choose Sequence (multi-channel) mode, or start from the Standard 3-touch recipe.
Touch 1: WhatsApp, +30 min. Touch 2: Email, +2 h. Touch 3: SMS, +24 h. Set the channel and delay on each.
Under Channels, connect the accounts each touch sends from and pick templates. Chips show which channels are ready.
Set a recovery coupon that auto-applies when the shopper returns via the link.
Enable the journey. It fires per abandoned cart and stops the moment the shopper returns or buys.
